You will need 5 books to assist your training:

  1. The Highway Code
  2. The Driving Instructors Handbook
  3. The Driving Manual
  4. Know Your Traffic Signs
  5. The Driving Test

Training Supplied

The school will supply your mock test question papers and blank answer sheets which you should complete with the aid of your study books and handouts. When completed we will mark them and return them to you for your further study indicating the correct answer if you have any of the questions wrong, at the same time we will provide you with further training papers in order that we may assess your progress and also identify any weak areas that you may have.

We shall from time to time ask you to complete certain papers without the aid of your books or any study aids. This will be carried out at the training centre and by studying the results of these tests, we will advise you whether or not you are ready to sit the first part of your examination.

If you have any queries at any time regarding the questions please contact your trainer who will be pleased to assist you. Please note there is no limit to the amount of mock test papers that you may receive. The training for the part one is unlimited. We currently hold a data bank containing over 10,000 questions including those which are contained in the actual test.
